Job summary

RB Global GovPlanet team is seeking a Senior Yard Staff to safely receive, merchandise and manage inventory across RB Global facilities and government locations. The role requires lifting heavy items and operating equipment, with substantial travel and a focus on strict customer service standards.

The position involves coordinating activities, conducting inventories, using inventory systems, and performing repairs and maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications

We are offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus for this role.

The Senior Yard Staff safely receives, merchandises, uses inventory accountability practices, operates MHE, and facilitates check-out of items. They utilize a heavy mechanical aptitude to complete repairs and maintenance on items. They may perform their duties at customer locations, RB Global facilities, and/or Government Locations. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is always expected of the Yard Staff.

Responsibilities

• May act as a lead or coordinate assigned activities.
• Receives/releases (checks-in/checks-out) inventory.
• Performs joint physical inventories at government locations.
• Uses systems to track and process inventory.
• Drives/operates heavy and light equipment.
• Performs facility inspections (per checklists) and provides housekeeping or maintenance services as necessary.
• Performs maintenance and heavy repairs on equipment.
• Merchandises and inspects items for sale.
• Boosts equipment.
• Performs complex demilitarization and deidentification.
• Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment.
• Assist in coordinating logistics.
• Interacts with customers.
• Travels to other locations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
