Job summary

RB Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Yard Staff to safely receive, merchandise and manage inventory, operate MHE, and facilitate checkout of items across RB Global facilities, customer sites, and government locations.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude for repairs and maintenance, with a focus on customer service and compliance with military access requirements. Travel and heavy workloads are expected.

Qualifications

• Good customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Travel up to 80% may be required.
• Lift 80 pounds regularly.
• Must have a Real ID.
• Clean Background as the ability to access Military Instillations will be required.

Responsibilities

• May act as a lead or coordinate assigned activities.
• Receives/releases (checks-in/checks-out) inventory.
• Performs joint physical inventories at government locations.
• Uses systems to track and process inventory.
• Drives/operates heavy and light equipment.
• Performs facility inspections (per checklists) and provides housekeeping or maintenance services as necessary.
• Performs maintenance and heavy repairs on equipment.
• Merchandises and inspects items for sale.
• Boosts equipment.
• Performs complex demilitarization and deidentification.
• Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment.
• Assist in coordinating logistics.
• Interacts with customers.
• Travels to other locations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Senior Yard Staff safely receives, merchandises, uses inventory accountability practices, operates MHE, and facilitates check-out of items. They utilize a heavy mechanical aptitude to complete repairs and maintenance on items. They may perform their duties at customer locations, RB Global facilities, and/or Government Locations. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is always expected of the Yard Staff.
