Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a seasoned Program Manager to lead the xPL program from preconstruction through closeout, driving improvements and team development. You will partner with clients, designers, and manufacturers to expand the business and ensure value delivery.

The role requires a strong ability to mentor teams, define SOPs, and monitor KPIs while coordinating with IS and technology teams to support operations. Travel is limited.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited program in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field, and minimum of 10 years of related experience with progressive responsibility, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience in supply chain, 4PL, commercial construction, or related industry with knowledge of regional manufacturers, suppliers, and industry trends.
• Knowledge of cost, scheduling, purchasing, estimating, engineering principles and techniques, and accounting principles.
• Interpersonal relationship building skills to develop trusted relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
• Negotiation skills with ability to influence outcomes.
• Ability to interpret contract documents, scopes of work, and project schedule.
• Analytical and process thinking with sound judgment and decision-making.
• Project management and leadership skills to manage high volumes of work and motivate teams.
• Executive presentation delivery skills and ability to tailor communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-lasting partnerships with program client, designers, manufacturers, and stakeholders for program success.
• Fully understand client objectives to discover and explore future business opportunities and broker connections with other teams to showcase business value.
• Provide training, coaching, mentoring to Program Management team to align and support client program expectations.
• Develop measurable metrics and provide strategic guidance to clients and internal team leaders to communicate and support client program vision and progress.
• Maintain up-to-date progress and monitor overall health of client's program, manage and/or escalate issues and provide summaries to leadership.
• Partner with xPL Technology and IS teams to ensure effective operations of systems and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage scope, timelines, deliverables, resources, budgets and client delivery.
• Use data analytics to establish, monitor, and measure program KPIs and identify risks.
• Assist with development of xPL Program Playbook to define business SOPs.
• Manage Project Management employees and participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance feedback.
• Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
