Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Senior Architect Systems Engineer in Milwaukee to shape the architectural direction for advanced X-ray tube platforms. Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• At least 15 years of engineering experience.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Six Sigma training or equivalent continuous-improvement experience.
• Experience with mechanical design and analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with X-ray tube manufacturing processes.
• Ability to lead complex projects and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the X-ray generation engineering team across all product design aspects.
• Guide system architecture, roadmaps, and product strategy for X-ray tube platforms.
• Ensure designs meet technical, performance, reliability, manufacturability, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, manufacturing, service, and customers to translate needs into reliable designs.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and customer field engineering teams.
• Support service programs and new product introduction.
• Lead complex projects with broad scope and long-term impact.
• Communicate status, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and foster an inclusive engineering culture.
