Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in industry.
• Strong understanding of power electronics and power conversion systems.
• Circuit design and simulation tool experience including schematic design.
• Circuit board layout experience.
• Experience taking designs from concept through prototype, testing and production support.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and power electronics circuitry for Premium CT Hardware.
• Design, document, and maintain power distribution architecture across CT platforms.
• Strategize electrical and power design architecture for future-generation CT Hardware.
• Drive design rigor while adhering to engineering best practices.
• Capture electrical design schematics using ECAD systems.
• Review and approve PCB layouts within ECAD environments.
• Lead operational excellence of designs, including feasibility, cost-benefit, and resource planning.
• Develop prototypes, performance testing, and design documentation.
• Create innovative designs meeting performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost goals.
• Conduct hands-on troubleshooting, validation, and testing of complex electrical systems.
• Select and maintain test equipment; execute development and reliability test plans.
• Coordinate resources for engineering development and validation activities.
• Resolve issues identified during product development and testing.
• Communicate status, risks, and plans to management.
