Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Program Manager for Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Central Programs Team to lead safety projects from ideation through network deployment. You will manage end-to-end delivery across multiple BUs and geographies, driving risk reduction with data and process improvement.

This role requires navigating ambiguous environments, building clear narratives, and coordinating with operations, robotics, procurement, and field teams. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own full project lifecycle from ideation through network deployment, including tollgate preparation, narrative development, entitlement submission, and project closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans (waterfall gantt), deployment schedules, and vendor Scopes of Work with clear milestones and accountability.
• Manage vendor relationships including 3PL labor coordination, material supplier engagement, Avetta compliance, and Coupa PO management.
• Produce clear, data-backed written narratives for tollgate reviews, MBR/WBR read-outs, and escalation documents; anticipate questions and address them preemptively.
• Identify and implement process improvements that reduce cycle time, eliminate rework, and create reusable playbooks for future deployments.
