Job summary

Gensler in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Designer who blends creativity with technical rigor across the design and production process to deliver inventive, environmentally responsible and budget-conscious interiors. You will lead projects from programming through CD and construction administration, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with shell teams, consultants, and fabricators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 10+ years of interior design experience in corporate workplace with portfolio.
• Ability to communicate and present design concepts and rationales.
• Knowledge of sustainable and universal design concepts.
• Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, and/or other modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design assignments across programming, conceptual design, space planning, schematic design, and construction documentation.
• Provide design support for organization, production and execution of projects.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams, consultants and partners.
• Generate interior architectural plans, elevations and details with specs and schedules.
• Guide and mentor junior designers on multiple projects and client relations.
