Job summary

Gensler in Charlotte seeks a Senior Interior Designer to blend creativity with technical know-how, delivering purposeful and beautiful spaces for clients. You will lead design development, supervise documentation, and mentor teammates, working on Workplace Interiors, offices, government and educational spaces.

Proficiency in Revit and strong communication are essential. This on-site role emphasizes collaboration with external consultants and vendors in a vibrant studio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program.
• 10+ years of interior design/architecture experience in commercial design.
• NCIDQ certification preferred; contact for alignment if in progress.

Responsibilities

• Interpret client needs, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development and construction documentation.
• Deliver design solutions using independent judgment and best practices.
• Select FF&E, color palettes, lighting; create 3D views with software like Revit/SketchUp.
• Lead design support and documentation during concept completion.
