Job summary

Gensler in Los Angeles seeks an Interiors-focused architectural designer to join our team. You will blend creativity, storytelling, and technical knowledge to produce experience-driven spaces for clients, with an emphasis on mixed-use projects and innovative design concepts.

The ideal candidate has strong design skills, at least 5 years of experience, and proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite. You will lead design development, coordinate with consultants, and contribute to construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Revit and Adobe programs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Knowledge of FF&E, furniture systems, color and materials.
• NCIDQ preferred; licensure is supported.

Responsibilities

• Lead/assist a project team in developing the interior design and drawings.
• Develop space planning concepts and program documents.
• Select furniture systems and specifications.
• Coordinate finished plans and material selections with the project team.
• Develop design documents from test-fit plans to finishes and product selections.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, fabricators, spec writers, and regulators.
• Participate in construction administration and review submittals.
• Manage client expectations and team communications.
