Job summary

Mozilla is seeking a Software (Application) Engineer in the Workplace technology team to design, build, and maintain automation and integration services powering collaboration tools and identity workflows. You will write scripts, APIs, and lightweight integrations that connect Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, and Okta, balancing reliability and security.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scripts, APIs, and workflow automations that power key workplace systems — collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian) and identity platforms (Okta).
Develop lightweight services or integrations that connect collaboration, GenAI-tools (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) and internal systems, enabling agentic flows that reduce manual work and improve user experience.
Implement monitoring, logging and observability for automation and AI workflows; troubleshoot issues and uncover opportunities for reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Contribute to onboarding/offboarding and mover workflows across access, permissions and SaaS tools — with automation and safe agentic handoffs where appropriate.
