Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Workout Officer III for a remote role. You will assist in liquidation, exit strategies, and risk management for large credits, collaborating with Portfolio Managers to maximize bank returns.

The role requires 8–10 years in workout banking, a deep understanding of credit policies, and strong negotiation and analytical abilities. Travel is required as part of the position.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or economics preferred or equivalent work experience required.
• Typically requires 8–10 years workout or related banking experience.
• Deep understanding of credit policies, procedures and decisioning tools.
• Strong oral, written communication, and negotiation skills.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• PC proficiency with Windows based word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Responsabilidades

• Collection of past due accounts.
• Formulate and execute exit strategies on large and complex administrative loans.
• Negotiate best course of action on large and complex Administrative Loans.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to track financial covenants and approvals.
• Assist Wholesale Line of Business on potential trouble credits.
• Identify potential loss on administrative credits.
• Prepare required reporting and maintain credit/collateral files.
• Escalate complex transactions to legal counsel when required.
• Mentor junior workout officers.
• Present collection updates at Admin Loan Meetings.
