Job summary

UCSF is seeking a Lead Workforce Visualization Analyst to strengthen workforce analytics, metrics, and reporting across People Analytics. You will design dashboards, write SQL, validate results, and collaborate with engineers to deliver enterprise-grade insights.

You will partner with stakeholders, prioritize work, and promote consistent visualization standards while communicating complex workforce information to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
• 2+ years using SQL and modern analytics platforms with metrics development.
• 2+ years building dashboards/reports from large enterprise data sets with BI tools.
• Translate business questions into analytic approaches and actionable recommendations.
• Develop dashboards using established visualization standards and templates.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS 365, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support workforce reporting, analytics, and metric development for UCSF.
• Lead visualization design, analytics development, and reporting products.
• Write SQL and analytical logic, validate results, and partner with engineering.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to operationalize reporting solutions.
• Maintain visualization standards and improve user experience across dashboards.
