Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. in Houston seeks a Senior Workforce Development Trainer to lead training programs for both field and office staff.

You will design and deliver sessions on supervision, work readiness, teamwork, and communication, aligning content with business needs and measuring outcomes. This senior role mentors junior trainers, partners with Learning & Development, and drives program improvements across Recruitment, Onboarding, Skills Training, and Leadership Development to support

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in a training or similar role is preferred.
• Understanding of electrical construction and contracting.
• Ability to speak comfortably in front of a classroom audience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to analyze business and training needs for improvement.
• Experience in developing and implementing training programs is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment: organizes and attends local job and career fairs, coordinates with Marketing and Business Development, screens field applicants and refers to unions.
• Onboarding: designs onboarding content, coordinates with Learning & Development and Safety, conducts sessions, administers assessments, handles DocuSign for new hires.
• Skills Training: delivers hands-on training modules for classifications (e.g., conduit bending, MC cable), leads bootcamp-style sessions for sub-journeyman level employees.
• Leadership Development: coordinates/ facilitates Foreman Development Series, field supervision training, app-based and software-based training, customizes content.
• General Workforce Development Support: promotes Rosendin culture, tracks training metrics, coordinates education credits, develops content, mentors trainers, connects field and office teams.
