Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Senior Workforce Development Trainer to drive employee growth through training programs for field and office staff. The role focuses on supervisory skills, work readiness, teamwork, and effective communication, with senior-level responsibility for program design and content improvements.

The position reports to a manager, mentors other WFD trainers, and supports a workforce development program centered on recruitment, onboarding, skills training, and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in training or similar role (preferred).
• Understanding of electrical construction and contracting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience; 4–6 years of related experience.
• Union experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit local job fairs and coordinate recruitment with Marketing and Business Development.
• Interview and assess field applicants; provide next steps and referrals.
• Design and facilitate onboarding sessions focused on culture, safety and skills.
• Deliver hands-on training modules (e.g., conduit bending, MC cable installation, terminations).
• Lead bootcamp-style sessions for sub-journeyman level employees.
• Coordinate Foreman Development Series and field supervision training; customize content per location.
• Track training metrics and report results to corporate Learning & Development; assign LinkedIn Learning paths.
