Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking an Estimating Trainer to lead and oversee the division’s estimating program, providing technical and administrative direction to meet corporate objectives.

You will manage budgets, staffing, wage reviews, work assignments, and bid archives, while implementing corporate estimating procedures and supporting executives, business development, and project management on bid strategies and contract negotiations. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Advanced management or technical training preferred.
• Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Experience in construction estimating preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage department functions including budgets, staffing, wage reviews, and bid archives.
• Maintain corporate estimating procedures using the estimating system/database.
• Assist executives and project teams in bid strategies and scope reviews.
• Review final estimate packages for accuracy before quotation.
• Support contract negotiations and change orders as needed.
• Deliver presentations to management and clients.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
