Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Workforce Planning Analytics & Market Intelligence Specialist to turn talent and workforce data into strategic insights. Hybrid role in Hillsboro, OR or Marlborough, MA with a strong emphasis on forecasting, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role focuses on workforce health, external market intelligence, and strategic planning to ensure readiness for current and future business needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in workforce trends, forecasting talent requirements and workforce readiness.
• Able to analyze complex data, identify trends, and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Strong experience with forecasting, scenario planning, data modeling and reporting.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and driving projects with moderate scope.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Collaborates across functions and influences stakeholders through data-driven insights.
• Advanced proficiency in workforce analytics tools, reporting platforms, spreadsheets and visualization.
• Strong written and verbal communication to present complex information clearly.
• Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver key talent metrics and insights (bench strength, succession health, retention risk, internal mobility).
• Analyze workforce data, trends, and priorities to assess supply and demand, risks and opportunities.
• Translate complex data into clear, executive-ready narratives.
• Develop workforce forecasts, scenarios, and planning models for multiple functions.
• Identify workforce risks and capability gaps; recommend solutions.
• Partner with leaders, HR, and stakeholders to translate objectives into strategies.
• Evaluate labor market trends to inform planning and investments.
• Lead or support workforce planning initiatives and projects with timely delivery.
• Interpret policies and analytics to address business situations and emerging challenges.
• Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve workforce issues across teams.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations to inform decisions.
• Provide guidance and coaching to colleagues on workforce planning practices.
