CNA is seeking a claims professional to investigate and maintain Long Term Care claims under senior supervision. You will review coverages, determine liability, secure information, and negotiate settlements within authority limits.

Responsibilities include coordinating investigations, handling complex settlements, identifying fraud indicators for SIU referral, and collaborating with attorneys and underwriters to resolve claims cost-effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically 3–5 years claims experience.
• California experience preferred; if not certified, willing to complete certification within first month of hire.

Responsabilités

• Interpret complex policy coverages and determine applicability to claims.
• Set reserves and authorize payments within authority, manage disbursements.
• Coordinate investigations and settlements with insureds, claimants, partners and experts.
• Identify fraud indicators and refer to SIU for review.
• Coordinate with subrogation and salvage units for recovery opportunities.
• Prepare management reports and, when needed, lead special projects.
