Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Investigates highly complex claims, including coverage, liability, and damages.
• Determines settlement vs. litigation strategy and implements resolution plan.
• Manages loss costs and claim expenses.
• Coordinates discovery and litigation strategy with staff counsel or panel attorneys.
• Negotiates highly complex settlement packages and authorizes payments.
• Coordinates third-party recovery with subrogation/salvage unit.
• Provides guidance to less experienced claims staff and other areas.
• Prepares and presents reports to management and internal partners.
