EMPLOYERS is a leading workers’ compensation insurer offering a remote-friendly culture and strong agent partnerships. As a Workers' Compensation Underwriter you’ll become a specialist, handling risk analysis, pricing, and book management for renewals from a remote home office.

You’ll build agency relationships, document underwriting decisions, and mentor junior underwriters while maintaining current product knowledge and supporting cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Underwriting experience in property, casualty, and workers’ compensation.
• Ability to analyze risk, loss experience, and pricing with state filings.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to guide internal stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite and retain new and renewal business with disciplined risk analysis.
• Own renewal book and meet statutory deadlines and notices.
• Evaluate risk, classification, and loss experience independently.
• Document underwriting decisions with rationale and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain agency relationships with sales partners.
• Guide Underwriting Services on coverage requests per service guidelines and SLAs.
• Communicate professionally with customers and resolve issues.
