Qualifikationen

• Legal case management software experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service, writing and oral communication skills required.
• Must have valid state-issued driver’s license in good standing.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the work of assigned Trial Attorneys and provide supervisory guidance.
• Assist the Managing Attorney with office procedures, workflows and policies.
• Prepare and try complex, high exposure cases to conclusion.
• Analyze complex issues and develop defense strategies with the Insured.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs for defense.
• Engage in paper discovery and conduct depositions as needed.
• Travel to depositions and court appearances; approx. 20% of time.
• Maintain client and claims updates; coordinate with opposing counsel.
• Research issues using Lexis and other sources; cite authorities.
• Provide support to claims, underwriting and other departments.
