Job summary

Ideal candidates have 5+ years hearing representative experience or 7+ years workers' comp or legal experience, plus a JD or law degree, and proficiency with Westlaw, Pacer, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or law degree.
• 7+ years of workers compensation claim or legal experience.
• 5+ years hearing rep experience with strong litigation focus.

Responsibilities

• Independently handles a full to moderate caseload with low to moderate severity and complexity.
• Handles hearings, court events, and other appointments independently as appropriate.
• Conducts legal research as necessary.
• Drafts pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery and other documents.
• Interprets medical reports and provides disability ratings where applicable.
• Provides case analysis and recommendations to partners and clients.
• Builds and maintains client relationships.
• Completes administrative tasks including time reporting and case closure.
• Utilizes case management systems and automation in practice.
• Meets annual billable hour expectations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
