Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney in New Jersey with 8+ years of experience to manage a full caseload and represent employers before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
Active bar in good standing where practice occurs.
8+ years in workers' compensation defense.

Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of workers' compensation cases of varying degrees of complexity.
Prepare legal documents and reports with a high level of accuracy.
Conduct depositions of claimants, medical personnel, and other relevant parties.
Represent employers and carriers before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board.
Conduct and direct legal research to stay updated on current workers' compensation laws and regulations.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in conjunction with claims adjusters.
