Ideal candidates have a JD, NJ bar admission, and at least 1 year of defense experience in a tech services context, with excellent negotiation and writing skills to support sound legal

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in NJ and in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney experience.

Responsibilities

• Defend workers' compensation claims for benefits including medical, disability, death and rehabilitation.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support decisions and advice.
• Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, briefs, reports, and correspondence.
• Represent clients in pre-trial and trial matters, depositions, mediations and hearings.
