Travelers is seeking an Associate Senior Counsel to handle a caseload of moderate to high complexity matters in insurance defense litigation. You will independently manage cases from inception through trial and appeal, delivering strong results for insured clients and Travelers, while mentoring junior attorneys.

Ideal candidates have significant trial experience, deep knowledge of the practice areas, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Aptitude for trying cases to a jury with proven courtroom outcomes
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to explain complex litigated matters

Aufgaben

• Leverage pre-trial and trial experience to try cases to verdict or negotiate resolution.
• Conduct proficient legal research and produce persuasive writing and presentations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery and other legal documents.
• Attend court events, depositions, and appointments independently.
• Provide in-depth case analysis and recommendations to insured clients and Claim partners.
• Collaborate with experts to develop case strategies and testimony.
• Build relationships with clients and business partners and mentor others.
• Provide training and legal updates to insured clients and Claim partners.
• Lead and mentor junior attorneys and staff.
