Job summary

AvonRisk seeks a senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster III to lead highly complex, high-exposure claims across multiple jurisdictions. You will guide medical management, RTW strategies, and life care planning while directing litigation and settlements with senior support.

You will mentor junior adjusters, maintain client relationships, and drive reserve accuracy, ensuring timely reporting and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of WC claims experience including independent indemnity management.
• Knowledge of public entity liability claims, JPAs, and self-insured programs.
• Active adjuster license; multi-state preferred; CA SIP for CA files.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex investigations on high-exposure claims with strategic plans.
• Direct medical management, RTW coordination, and life care planning.
• Navigate complex litigation, select counsel, manage settlements and liens.
• Mentor junior staff and serve as a senior technical resource for clients.
