Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to manage workers' compensation claims within a Missouri jurisdiction and operate in a fully remote capacity.

You will collaborate with clients and claimants, applying analytical skills to evaluate exposures, determine course of action, and resolve claims in line with policy and regulatory standards while delivering empathetic, results-driven service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 5 years related claims experience.
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply claims management experience to analyze claims exposure, plan the proper course of action, and resolve claims.
• Interact extensively with parties involved in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants exhibiting empathy through each step.
• Handle claims in accordance with clients' and corporate policies, procedures, and standard methodologies.
