Job summary

CCMSI in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claim Consultant to manage a complex portfolio of claims in a hybrid work setting. This full-life-cycle WC adjuster role requires 5+ years of claims experience and a VA license if required, with strong communication and team skills.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Adjuster’s license may be required based on jurisdiction: VA.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and adjust WC claims per established standards and laws.
• Establish reserves and provide reserve recommendations within authority.
• Review, approve or oversee medical, legal, damage invoices; negotiate disputes.
• Authorize and pay claims in accordance with procedures and authority.
• Coordinate with clients, claimants and involved parties throughout the adjustment process.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and conferences as appropriate.
