Job summary

CCMSI in Charlotte, NC seeks a seasoned Workers’ Compensation Claim Consultant to manage a complex portfolio with empathy, judgment, and expert claim handling. With 5+ years of hands‑on WC experience, you will lead investigations, set strategy, and drive timely resolutions in a full life‑cycle WC adjuster role within a TPA environment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Adjuster’s license may be required depending on jurisdiction (VA).

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and adjust WC claims per standards and laws.
• Establish reserves or provide reserve recommendations within authority.
• Review and approve medical, legal, and damage invoices; negotiate disputes.
• Authorize payments per procedures within authority and guidelines.
• Negotiate settlements in line with standards and laws.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for designated claim files.
• Monitor subrogation claims and maintain claim diary.
• Prepare client communications and status reports.
