Morgan & Morgan, P.A. in Nashville is seeking an Attorney to join our Workers' Compensation department to handle a heavy and complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial.

The attorney will manage day-to-day case work, draft pleadings, coordinate with experts, and appear at depositions, mediations, and hearings. We value strong writing and advocacy, and offer a competitive benefits package for full-time employees.

Formación

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Tennessee State Bar member; multiple state licenses preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of workers' compensation experience.
• Experience with wage/hour claims is a plus.
• Ability to manage high-volume pre-litigation and litigation caseload.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsabilidades

• Day-to-day handling of cases from pre-litigation to litigation.
• Mostly handling pre-suit and assisting senior attorneys when suit is filed.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interaction with expert witnesses including conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
