Job summary

Healthcare IT Leaders, LLC is seeking a Senior Workday Technical Architect for a long-term contract with on-site travel to the Tri-State Area. The role begins immediately, serving NY, NJ, and CT regions.

The candidate will act as the client-side technical authority across multi-module Workday deployments (HCM, Financials, Supply Chain), review integration designs and artifacts, and lead QA/testing oversight. Knowledge transfer to a PeopleSoft-focused internal team is required.

Qualifications

• Multiple full-cycle Workday implementations in a technical architect or lead role.
• Deep expertise in Workday integration tooling and architecture.
• Experience reviewing and remediating integration and data conversion builds.

Responsibilities

• Serve as client-side technical authority across a multi-module Workday deployment (HCM, Financials, Supply Chain).
• Review and validate integration designs, APIs, and deployment artifacts; challenge gaps before testing/production.
• Lead technical review of QA/testing, including integration, regression, end-to-end coverage.
• Assess deployment readiness: tenant strategy, migration/cutover plans, data conversion validation, release planning.
• Review integration architecture across Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and web services; ensure security and monitoring.
• Partner with PM and functional leads to surface technical risks and drive resolution with integrator.
• Establish standards, documentation, and support models for internal ownership post go-live.
• Transfer knowledge to a largely PeopleSoft-trained internal team.

Our healthcare client is seeking a Senior Workday Technical Architect to join their team in a long-term, contract opportunity. This position would begin immediately and require on-site travel to the Tri-State Area.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the client-side technical authority across a multi-module Workday deployment spanning HCM, Financials, and Supply Chain
• Review and validate system integrator technical deliverables, including integration designs, APIs, and deployment artifacts, and challenge gaps before they reach testing or production
• Lead technical review of the QA and testing approach, including integration, regression, and end-to-end test coverage
• Assess Workday deployment readiness: tenant strategy, migration and cutover plans, data conversion validation, and release management
• Review integration architecture across Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and web services, including error handling, security, and monitoring
• Partner with the project manager and functional leads to surface technical risks and drive resolution with the integrator
• Establish technical standards, documentation, and support models the internal team can own post go-live
• Transfer knowledge to a largely PeopleSoft-trained internal team, building their capability to sustain the platform

Requirements:

• Multiple full-cycle Workday implementations in a technical architect or technical lead capacity, client-side or SI
• Deep expertise in Workday integration tooling (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Web Services and REST APIs) and the Workday technical architecture
• Hands-on experience reviewing and remediating integration and data conversion builds, not only designing them
• Demonstrated ability to audit and challenge system integrator deliverables in a big-bang go-live and stabilization environment
• Experience with Workday deployment lifecycle, tenant management, and release planning
• Healthcare provider industry experience strongly preferred
• Workday Pro certification in a technical area (e.g., Integrations) preferred
• Strong communication skills across technical teams, functional leads, and executive stakeholders
