Job summary

Marathon Petroleum seeks an experienced Workday Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable Workday HR solutions. The role combines technical depth with strategic thinking to align technology with business goals and Workday best practices.

You will drive end-to-end architecture for Hire-to-Retire, mentor teams, and shape roadmaps while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field required.
• 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years architecture experience.
• Deep understanding of Workday architecture including BP framework, security, reporting, integrations.
• Experience leading large-scale Workday implementations and integrations.
• Workday certifications in Core HCM or related modules desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of robust Workday solutions.
• Mentor and develop solution architects and teams.
• Define and enforce architecture standards and governance.
• Shape roadmaps and ensure scalable, compliant Hire-to-Retire ecosystem.
• Stay current with Workday releases and industry trends.
