Job summary

Marathon Petroleum seeks an experienced Workday Solution Architect to lead design and implementation of scalable Workday HR technology. You will align technology with business goals, deliver Hire-to-Retire excellence, and mentor teams across DevSecOps and hybrid cloud.

The role requires leadership, deep Workday knowledge, and ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences. Oil & Gas experience is a plus; multiple locations include Houston and Findlay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field required.
• 8+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in architecture.
• Deep Workday architecture knowledge including BPF, Security, Reporting, and Integrations.
• Workday Core HCM certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-scale solution architectures spanning multiple systems.
• Define principles, guidelines, standards, and governance practices.
• Mentor architects and implementation teams in DevSecOps and hybrid cloud.
• Shape strategic roadmaps and business capability models.
• Develop reusable Workday frameworks for cross-functional projects.
• Evaluate technologies, create prototypes, and drive cohesive designs.
