Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Senior Workday Integrations Developer to design, develop and maintain integrations between Workday and external systems. You will work across Workday Extend, Orchestrate, Studio, and pre-built connectors to ensure data flows smoothly and securely.

The role emphasizes collaboration with HR, finance and IT partners, plus ongoing production support and continuous improvement in a fast-paced health-care environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building Workday Integrations with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, and other relevant tools.
• 5+ years' experience partnering with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• 5+ years of experience resolving complex technical issues related to Workday integrations using strong analytical skills.
• 5+ years' experience with Workday SOAP API, REST API, JSON, and Import API pattern.
• 3+ years’ experience working on Workday Extend.
• 1+ year of experience working on Workday Orchestrate.
• 1+ year of experience with Workday reporting, calculated fields and Studio.
• 1+ year of experience with Workday security, Core HCM business processes, and alerts.
• Workday Pro Workday Extend Developer I Certification

Responsibilities

• Designing Integration Solutions: Lead the design and development of integration solutions between Workday and external systems.
• Workday Extend: Development and Configuration of Workday Extend Applications.
• Workday Orchestrate: Design modular orchestrations, link external APIs, process data, and manage error handling.
• Workday Studio: Develop complex integrations involving multiple systems and data mappings.
• Pre-built Connectors: Leverage Workday Cloud Connect and other connectors for efficient integrations.
• Customization: Customize integrations to meet business requirements and best practices.
• Develop Integration Workflows: Build workflows triggering business processes in Workday or external systems.
• Implementation and Deployment: Integrate components ensuring interop across digital solution.
• Deploy Integration Solutions: Oversee deployment with minimal downtime.
• Data Migration: Assist with data migration and legacy data transfer.
• Workday Version Updates: Keep integrations compatible with quarterly releases.
• Development Methodologies: Participate in Agile and other methods, plan and drive progress.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Align architecture and scalability decisions.
• Work with Business Analysts and Functional Teams: Understand integration requirements.
• Stakeholder Communication: Gather requirements and resolve issues.
• External Vendor Coordination: Manage external integrations with vendors.
• Production Support: Monitor integrations and lead incident resolution.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Workday features and optimize solutions.
• Workday Release Management: Assess impact of new releases and plan updates.
• Document Integration Workflows: Create and maintain technical docs.
• Training and Support: Mentor developers and analysts on Workday integrations.
• Foster Collaboration: Build relationships across teams.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues.
