Job summary

Fairfield University is seeking a Workday Integration Developer to build and maintain an enterprise automation platform powering HR, Finance, and Student integrations. The role sits on the Enterprise Systems team and partners with cross-functional leads to deliver robust integration solutions.

The ideal candidate has Workday technical experience and prior software development experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Workday Finance, HCM or Student experience and integrations.
• Experience with Workday Studio Development and EIB/RaaS.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and delivery of Workday and third‑party integrations.
• Create technical designs, perform testing, deploy and support integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess requirements and define specs.
• Configure and develop integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, and web services.
• Monitor integrations, manage deployments to production, and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide reporting capabilities and analytics to support business processes.
• Stay current with Workday releases and best practices.
