Job summary

Fairfield University seeks an Enterprise Systems Team Lead to guide a growing team of analysts, developers, and system administrators with a strong Workday focus. The role drives architecture, integrations, and configurations across HCM, Finance, Payroll, and Student modules while mentoring staff and delivering strategic enterprise solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Workday technical roles, leadership experience, and hands-on Workday Studio/integration know-how.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of Workday technical experience (HCM, Finance, Payroll, or Student).
Experience leading or mentoring a technical team.
Expertise in Workday Studio, EIBs, RaaS, Calculated Fields, WebServices (REST/SOAP).

Responsibilities

Serve as Technical Lead for Analysts, Developers, and System Administrators.
Translate evolving business needs into scalable Workday solutions.
Oversee architectural decisions on integrations and configurations with focus on Workday.
Coordinate system roadmaps with the Director and functional leaders.
Provide hands-on guidance during high-priority initiatives and system outages.
