Job summary

RSM US LLP seeks a senior integration engineer with deep Workday expertise to design, build, and troubleshoot API-driven integrations between Workday and enterprise platforms. You will handle Workday REST and SOAP APIs, data models, and orchestration layers such as Power Automate.

The role emphasizes deterministic, observable integrations with robust error handling, security, and full observability while aligning with system-of-record logic across multi-system workflows in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or significant related work experience
• 4+ years hands-on Workday integration experience
• Strong expertise in Workday SOAP and REST APIs
• Understanding of Workday data model and Business Process routines
• Ability to construct API requests and troubleshoot failures at the request/response level
• Debug integrations without relying on Studio abstraction layers
• Knowledge of XML structures, namespaces, and schema validation
• Familiarity with integration security (ISU, ISSG) and API connectivity patterns
• Design integrations to be deterministic, observable, and auditable
