Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Workday Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday and the broader enterprise landscape. You will work hands-on with EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect to deliver reliable, secure integrations in a production environment.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience, strong engineering discipline, and excellent communication to collaborate with HR, payroll, IT, and finance stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Five or more years of Workday integration development experience.
• Deep expertise in EIB, Workday Studio, and Core Connectors.
• Strong XSLT skills and Workday Studio orchestrations.
• Hands-on experience with Workday REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of the Workday data model and tenant configuration.
• Experience with Workday security model including ISU/ISSG patterns.
• Familiarity with calculated fields and custom report design.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Workday integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and PECI.
• Build inbound and outbound integrations connecting Workday with payroll, benefits, IT provisioning, finance, and analytics systems.
• Develop XSLT transformations within Workday Studio integrations, applying disciplined templating practices and reusable libraries.
• Implement integrations using Workday REST and SOAP web services where appropriate.
• Design error handling, retry, and notification strategies for reliable integration operations.
• Develop and maintain integration system users, ISSGs, security configurations, and tenant-level setup.
• Build and maintain calculated fields, custom reports, and report-as-a-service integrations.
• Implement Workday business processes and condition rules that support integration logic.
• Participate in tenant refresh planning and integration regression testing.
• Collaborate with HR, payroll, IT, and finance stakeholders to translate business needs into integration designs.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams and runbooks.
• Support production incidents related to integrations and drive durable fixes.
• Stay current with Workday releases and integration platform evolution.
