Job summary

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a senior Workday architect/administrator to lead HRIS configuration and cross‑module functionality. You will partner with HR and IT to define requirements, shape roadmaps, and ensure scalable, reliable system implementations.

You will own integrations, data mapping, and testing, and guide multi‑year plans while delivering high‑quality, user‑friendly solutions across the HRIS landscape.

Qualifications

• 10+ years Workday experience across Core HCM, Time, Absence, Comp, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting
• Experience with Security Model and Integrations (EIB, Core Connector); Studio preferred
• Payroll integration knowledge; ADP preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent combinations considered
• Experience supporting large employee populations (10k+)

Responsibilities

• Serve as design authority for Workday configuration and cross-module functionality
• Partner with HR staff to develop strategies, objectives and roadmaps for HRIS applications
• Translate business needs into automated HRIS processes including multi-year implementation plans
• Steward user experience for HR applications and develop training materials
• Own integrations, data mapping, and vendor connectivity
• Provide production support and troubleshooting for the HRIS and its integration points with other software and modules
