Job summary

Grand Canyon Education seeks a Director, HR Information Systems (Workday) to lead the HRIS team, optimize Workday, and align technology with HR strategy. This role requires deep Workday HCM expertise and strong data analytics to drive impactful HR outcomes.

You will collaborate across HR and IT to deliver secure, scalable solutions, enhance reporting, and ensure data integrity in a fast-paced environment. This is a strategic leadership role based in Phoenix.

Qualifications

12+ years of progressive HRIS experience with leadership responsibilities.
5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience, including configurations and optimizations.
10+ years of experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in technical/techno-functional roles supporting HR ERP implementations.
Strong understanding of HRIS database structure, data integrity, and reporting.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office for reporting.
A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Lead and develop the HRIS team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Drive Workday optimization through enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality.

Design smarter HR processes leveraging Workday capabilities.

Collaborate with IT, HR, and vendors to ensure seamless integrations.
