Job summary

NICO National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE seeks a Senior HRIS Analyst to own Workday HRIS operations, especially Recruiting, VNDLY and Talent modules. You will configure, test, document, and support complex HRIS processes, ensure data integrity, and guide stakeholders with expert technical solutions.

Responsibilities include leading bi-annual Workday releases, collaborating cross‑functionally, and delivering improvements that boost efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across HR functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field or equivalent
• 5+ years HRIS Workday experience
• Experience supporting Recruiting, VNDLY and Talent in Workday
• Experience with Workday Reporting and Security
• MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Business workflow and system configuration
• Software implementation and development

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, tests, maintains and enhances HRIS business processes per policy
• Participates in Workday releases to align with HR Technology roadmap
• Serves as HRIS SME for Recruiting, VNDLY and Talent
• Coordinates with other teams affecting HR systems
• Performs unit testing and documentation for all changes
• Troubleshoots system issues and analyzes root causes
• Lead meetings with stakeholders and document configurations and resolutions
