Job summary

Smith College seeks a Senior Systems Administrator for HR Technology to manage Workday administration, including configuration, reporting, training, and data management. You will serve as primary contact for Workday initiatives and support the Operations, Total Rewards, Talent, and HR Business Partners with data requests and troubleshooting.

You will collaborate with external consultants and campus teams to ensure cross-module optimization and ongoing system usability across HR functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 8+ years relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Strong Workday configuration and reporting skills.
• Experience collaborating with HR and campus stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, test, deploy and support Workday HCM, benefits, compensation, ATS, reporting, leaves, time off, and vendor integrations.
• Troubleshoot Workday issues and support HR teams with tickets and releases.
• Oversee reporting and data practices to support HR decision making.
• Coordinate with ITS and campus units to ensure cross-module optimization.
• Document procedures and maintain system knowledge for the HR team.
