Job summary

Software Resources, a trusted staffing partner, seeks a Senior Software Engineer (HCM) in Orlando, FL to design and evolve enterprise Workday integrations. The role combines deep Workday expertise with leadership and problem-solving to ensure robust HCM platforms.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, RaaS, and BIRT, while translating complex HR requirements into solid technical designs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience developing Workday integrations for consumers and downstream systems (5+ years).
• Strong knowledge of Workday HCM processes, security, and advanced reporting.
• Proficiency with Web Services, XSLT, JSON, XPath, APIs, messaging bus, pub-sub, and ETL patterns.
• 3+ years in JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5 and frameworks like React/Angular/jQuery.
• 3+ years server-side languages (Java, Python, .NET, Ruby).
• 3+ years in API development using SOA.
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL and various caching mechanisms.
• Secure SDLC, secure coding practices, full testing lifecycles.
• Cloud/open-source development and matrixed environments.
• Strong problem solving, collaboration, and stakeholder communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field; 7+ years in software eng. work on enterprise HR tech.
• Workday certification (Studio/Advanced Integrations) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance, scalable Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, RaaS, BIRT.
• Translate HR requirements into robust integration designs and specs.
• Implement integrations with Complex Calculated Fields, Web Services, JSON, and XSLT.
• Assess Workday releases to identify impacts and implement enhancements.
• Troubleshoot critical integration incidents with cross-functional teams.
• Apply data integration best practices (APIs, pub-sub, ETL) for reusable patterns.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and engineers to align with HR technology strategy.
• Lead projects as SME and technical authority on Workday HCM integrations (5+ years).
