Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Workday Functional Analyst to lead Workday Financials configurations and partner with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders. The role focuses on requirements translation, roadmap management, and biannual release coordination.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Workday Financials and proven experience in at least one full Workday implementation, with strong testing and change management capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials experience with direct configuration ownership.
• Participation in at least one full-lifecycle Workday implementation is required.
• Experience coordinating biannual Workday releases and applying updates.

Responsibilities

• Act as daily partner to Finance, IT, and business stakeholders, translating requirements into technical specs.
• Serve as functional product owner for Workday Financials and manage enhancement requests and roadmaps.
• Lead functional coordination for Workday releases, including impact analysis and regression testing.
• Drive configuration activities and continuous improvement prioritizing standard Workday functionality.
• Oversee end-to-end testing lifecycle including UAT and regression testing.
• Provide post go-live support, training, and change management to Finance users.
