Job summary

DEW Softech Inc is seeking a Workday Extend Developer to drive enhancements across Finance, HR, and Reporting through building Extend applications. The initial use case focuses on a multi-rate employee enablement feature with support for CAI's staffing model, as part of our Workday ERP transformation.

This contract, remote role runs through November 2026 with potential extension. You will partner with HCM, Payroll, and Finance functional leads to gather requirements, design data models, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Workday configuration experience
• 3+ years hands-on Workday Extend development
• Experience architecting and developing Extend solutions
• Experience with Extend model-level components, PMD scripting and orchestrations
• Ability to design approval routing and worker/self-service interfaces within Extend
• Familiarity with Workday security structures and integration points

Responsibilities

• Partner with HCM, Payroll and Finance leads to gather requirements for the multi-rate employee application
• Design and build a Workday Extend app enabling multiple bill rates per worker with valid dating and downstream integration
• Evaluate new Extend use cases and advise build/configure/retire decisions
• Architect Extend apps with efficient data models and orchestration flows within Extend constraints
• Ensure Extend apps are auditable with approval routing and compliance controls
• Identify downstream Finance impacts and coordinate with Finance to surface risks
• Serve as Extend SME for the program team and external stakeholders
• Communicate technical decisions clearly to stakeholders
