Job summary

FirstDay Foundation in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Senior Workday Developer to design, configure, and optimize the Workday platform across HR, Finance, and business operations. The role requires 6+ years of hands-on Workday technical experience, expertise in HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, Prism Analytics, Workday Extend, reporting, and integrations, and the ability to mentor junior developers.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions and ensure stability

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
6+ years of hands-on Workday technical experience across modules including HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, and Compensation.
Experience with Workday integrations, reporting, analytics, and Extend development.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and maintain technical solutions across the Workday platform.
Support configuration changes and optimize key Workday modules (HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, Compensation).
Build and maintain integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, REST/SOAP APIs, and Web services.
Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
