Job summary
Large Healthcare System is seeking a seasoned Workday Compensation & Eligibility Consultant (Contract) to optimize compensation configurations, including allowances, premiums, and differentials. You will redefine eligibility rules to boost automation and reduce manual work across a mature Workday tenant.
You will collaborate with HRIS and business stakeholders to align job architecture, pay grades, and profiles, applying best practices to enhance system design, governance, and ongoing tenant
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of Workday experience.
- 3–5+ years focused on Workday Compensation.
- Experience designing and maintaining eligibility rules.
- Experience with job profiles, job families, and pay grade alignment.
- Strong problem-solving and configuration skills.
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and enhance Workday compensation configurations, including allowances, premiums, and differentials.
- Redefine and streamline eligibility rules to improve automation and reduce administrative effort.
- Evaluate and optimize calculated fields to support scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Partner with HRIS and business stakeholders to improve consistency across compensation structures.
- Support alignment of job architecture, including job profiles and pay grades.
- Apply Workday best practices to improve system design and usability.
- Contribute to ongoing tenant optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
