Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Workday Architect to drive the strategic enhancement and expansion of the Workday HCM platform. Based in San Jose, CA, this on‑site role reports to the Senior Director, HR Technology and Operations and partners with Global HR Operations, HRBPs, and Payroll & Benefits to implement new functionality.

You will lead Workday projects, manage integrations with external systems, ensure data security, and develop detailed documentation while providing guidance to teammates.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of hands‑on Workday experience across multiple HCM modules.
• Proven experience leading Workday projects, including new module implementations and large‑scale enhancements.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information systems, HR, business, or related field.
• Workday Pro certification or equivalent advanced training is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Bloom’s Workday HCM, Recruiting, Advance Compensation, Benefits, Performance, and Talent Management.
• Technical lead for Workday implementation of Onboarding and Absence Management.
• Design and develop Workday reports and dashboards to support HR and business analytics needs.
• Lead or support Workday semi‑annual releases, including impact analysis and stakeholder communications.
• Provide day‑to‑day systems support and implement enhancements per change control guidelines.
