Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Senior Workday Business Analyst to translate business needs into functional specs and user stories for Workday HCM modules. You will partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to design scalable solutions and deliver continuous process improvements.

You will lead requirements sessions, document designs, and support testing, releases, and production support. The role demands strong communication and ability to drive initiatives in a large enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information systems or HR.
• 5+ years of business analyst experience in enterprise applications.
• 3+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience.
• Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate Workday requirements.
• Lead requirements sessions with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT partners.
• Translate needs into functional specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows.
• Identify gaps, design future-state processes aligned with Workday capabilities.
• Collaborate with configuration, reporting, and security teams for scalable Workday solutions.
• Support Workday testing, releases, enhancements, and defect resolution.
