Qualifications

• 5+ years of HRIS experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Workday configuration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM, with experience in Absence and Time Tracking.
• Solid knowledge of Workday business process configuration and foundational architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex Workday issues and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Experience supporting a production Workday environment and managing configuration through testing and deployment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, IS, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR Systems owner for assigned Workday functional areas (Core HCM, Absence, Time Tracking).
• Act as a subject matter expert, assess requirements, recommend solutions, and own configuration through testing and deployment.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday functionality including business processes, eligibility rules, validations, notifications, and calculations.
• Support worker lifecycle processes: hires, changes, transfers, terminations, and organizational changes.
• Configure and support absence plans, time-off plans, accruals, eligibility, and related processes.
• Configure and support time entry, time calculations, and downstream payroll impacts.
• Evaluate current-state processes and recommend scalable improvements for data quality and user experience.
• Provide guidance on Workday best practices and governance.
