Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Workday AI Solutions Engineer to transform HR processes using Workday Extend and AI capabilities. You will design and deploy Extend apps, integrate with HR systems, and evaluate AI options for secure, scalable experiences across HR domains.

You will partner with HR and technology teams to deliver automated workflows, user-friendly interfaces, and production-ready solutions, while ensuring governance and security standards are met.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and deploying Workday Extend apps in production.
• Strong understanding of Workday security, data models and reporting.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Workday Studio, EIBs and Orchestrate.
• Translate HCM challenges into practical technical solutions.
• Experience implementing Workday AI capabilities and agent-management features.
• Knowledge of data privacy, identity, access management, and security.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize Workday Extend/AI opportunities with HR and IT.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and support Workday Extend apps for intuitive experiences.
• Evaluate Workday AI capabilities and integrations based on value and security.
• Develop proofs of concept and transition solutions to production.
• Design integrations across Workday and third-party platforms using REST/SOAP.
• Establish technical standards for Extend and AI solutions and monitor adoption.
